The Sitting Duck Podcast is a mix of great independent music and some discussions about topical news, views and technology. Episodes are released every Thursday night (NZ time) and run anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on how much there is to talk about, how much music I want to play and whether I decide to do something completely different! I choose only the best music that I like, so you can be guaranteed quality music - even if my ramblings don't quite make the grade sometimes.

About The Podcast
The Sitting Duck Podcast (SDP) is a mix of great music and some commentary on topical news, views and technology, recorded in Wellington, New Zealand.

I play only music I like, mostly from the collections of Mevio’s Music Alley and Ariel’s Cyber PR , but also through some personal contacts. Sometimes this can mean ‘mainstream’ music, but generally speaking you won’t find these artists on the radio and even less likely on the shelf at your local music outlet.
My favourite music is Pop, Rock and Acoustic, but I’ve also been known to play Alternative, Blues, Comedy, Country, Dance, Electronic, Folk, Funk, Groove, Holiday, Jazz, Lounge, New Wave, Reggae, R&B, Soul, Surf and World!
Your host is an IT professional in his early 40s who’s seen enough of life to start imparting some wisdom, but who recognises there’s still a lot to learn. You can have your say by emailing me at sittingduckpodcast@gmail.com or other methods detailed below.
The podcast is usually released weekly on Thursday night, New Zealand time.
